This is a hypothetical version of the 2021/2022 movie had it actually been released in 1978. The movie follows the same premise with a pre-adolescent boy named Finney Blake who lived with his abusive father and sister Gwen in Denver, Colorado, in the late 1970s. An unidentified abductor who goes by "The Grabber" has been linked to the disappearance of numerous adolescent and pre-adolescent boys, most of whom were white boys, in the area. Finney later becomes one of the victims but unlike the others, managed to escape his gruesome fate upon have a bloody final altercation with his kidnapper.
