David is the young shepherd boy who gains fame as a musician and later slaying the giant warrior Goliath. He becomes friends with Saul and his family. After the passing of Saul and his children, David becomes the second King of Israel. Under his leadership, David would establish Jerusalem as Israel's capital city and plans the building of the Lord's Temple. But when he becomes corrupted on power, David would witness his house and kingdom divided.
