After an "accident" resulting in the death of two acrobats, the Flying Graysons, Bruce takes in the couple's orphaned son, seeing himself deeply in the boy and his grief. At the same time, the sexy thief, Selina Kyle, Catwoman, emerges in Gotham, stirring up Bruce. Then a series of crimes occur in the city, which seems... The city's prosecutor, Harvey Dent, recovers from the attack suffered at the hands of the Joker in the previous film, having his face disfigured. This leads him to develop a new personality, bringing out his dark side.
