The first film in the DCEU follows Bruce Wayne, a multi-billionaire business mogul who inherited his fortune on his 18th birthday after the murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, when he was 10. While a charming eligible bachelor and philanthropist out front, Bruce harbors a deep secret. He is the crime fighting vigilante: The Batman. Bruce must deal with his internal struggles as he battles his greatest foe yet. The yin to his yang. The dark to his light. The Joker.
