College freshman Ricky Barnes is trying to get away from the spotlight that his country superstar parents have been in. Having had an interest in Australian culture since childhood, he decides to travel to a small town in Australia for his privacy and sanity. Everything changes when he meets Jewel Kadibil, the daughter of a local chief. Like Ricky, Jewel is very well-known in her native country because of her looks and willingness to donate to charities that she believes in. As their relationship blossoms, their differences and the spotlight threatens to break them up. Will people from both of their parties accept their relationship? How will Jewel and Ricky's cultural differences be solved during this spring vacation?
