After returning to his world from No Way Home, Peter Parker discovers that Gwen and Captain Stacy have returned to life from Doctor Strange's spell. He and Gwen resume their relationship while the cover story of the Stacies revival is that they were in witness protection. Peter learns that Norman Osborn's death and the disease he had were faked and Norman has been assembling a team to take on Spider-Man. However, Norman's plan conflicts with one of New York's most powerful mob bosses, Tombstone. Peter has to navigate how to beat two warring criminal empires that put aside their differences to take him on.
