On May 2nd, 2014, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released, and is sadly reviewed poorly. Sony is now worried, the second film in this series flopped, and they fear what will happen. So, they decide to call Kevin Feige, begging him to save Spider-Man. In Early 2015, it is announced that Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is coming to the MCU. It’s also announced the following day that a new version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, titled “The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Definitive Edition” will be released on April 5th, and will include a new ending entirely.read more

ringothedrummer New Ending: After mourning the death of Gwen Stacy, Peter was at her funeral for several months, upon that time his father had appeared and began tell him of what had happened with him at Oscorp and how is mother couldn't make it. After revealing much truth, Richard explain that people died for nothing if we lose hope and that it was not his destiny to save peoples lives rather it was Peter all along, saying with great power comes great responsibility. Equipped with an electromechanical suit of armor, Sytsevich dubs himself the "Rhino" and rampages through the streets. Peter confronts him as Spider-Man, and charges towards him.

ringothedrummer @batsonjacksont Post credit scene: Peter waits in an empty subway station, where he is then encountered by a man, wearing a coat. Peter soon recognizes the man as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. Steve tells Peter he knows who he is, and gives him an "offer".

ringothedrummer Besides the new ending, this edition includes a lot of new features such as the scenes with MJ, the Avengers Tower now being in the background, Electro’s puns are now deleted or redubbed, and we get a longer fight between Peter and Harry
