The show is a spin-off of Twipsy that featured characters from that series playing various characters from fairy tales and famous plays. The stories are usually altered for comedic effect in a manner akin to "ALF Tales". The episodes are performed in the style of a resident theater company or ensemble cast where Twipsy, Nick, Lissie and Albert would take the leading male and female roles, the Data Eater, Miss Information and Rumor-Rumor take on villain roles, and the other characters are cast according to their characteristics. Many stories spoof a film genre, such as the "Romeo and Juliet" episode, which is presented like an Elvis Presley film, with Twipsy as the Elvis-like Romeo, searching for love.
