Plot summary: Superman is challenged by a world that views his "truth, justice, and the human way" as old-fashioned. He embarks on a personal quest to understand his alien heritage, but his actions are questioned, which gives Lex Luthor the opportunity to frame him for an international incident. Superman and with the help of his old friend Richard ;Rex; Scott/Hourman Luthor's plot, while also embracing his lineage and proving himself as the hero the world needs.
