Fan Casting Jor-El in Superman

Jor-El is the biological father of Superman. Although he has perished with his entire planet of Krypton, his memories and knowledge were recorded for his son to find and learn. He acts as a guiding force to help Clark understand his powers better but also implores him to devote his time in raising a family and contributing to society on his new home.
