An ancient alien god lurking beneath Chrysler City, Kazaraak manifests as a monstrous, squid-like entity described in whispers as a “cosmic horror” and a “world-eating monster.” Bound to the shadows beneath the city, he acts through his human servant, Harold Ravinger, while his true form festers in the depths. Kazaraak seeks to reclaim the Orb—a fragment of his own power—now tied to Jacob, believing sentient life itself is a sickness that must be purged. His voice seeps into dreams and doubts, bending fear into a weapon and unraveling minds. Neither conqueror nor tyrant, he is something older and stranger: a harbinger of unmaking whose presence makes the city itself feel fragile, as though reality could splinter at any moment.
