Fan Casting Kate Rooney in Superhuman (2002-2012)

A rebellious, guitar-playing outcast with blonde hair and a sharp wit. Outgoing and sarcastic, she pushes back against authority with a free-spirited edge, but beneath it hides loneliness and a strained relationship with her distant father. Though Jacob sees her as his crush, Kate refuses to be anyone’s “dream ”girl”—she has her own agency, flaws, and struggles that make her fiercely independent, creative, and deeply human. She later becomes Jacob's girlfriend, and they become a couple, but she is always frustrated with his frequent disappearances. She's also Ricky's childhood best friend, which makes him jealous of her relationship with Jacob, despite her showing empathy for Ricky. She also starts a secret relationship with Erin (who, besides having a crush on Jacob, has one on her too), but she later dumps Jacob after finding out that he's Superhuman, and the death of Ricky Hitchcock, who became The Fallen. She moves to a different city when they graduate to start her music career and have a fresh start, now being his ex-girlfriend.
