Supergirl is a 2030 superhero film featuring the DC Comics hero of the same name. It is the thirty-fifth film in the DCEU and the second film in Phase 5. It is part of the Superman franchise. It was released on June 14, 2030. When Krypton exploded, the infant Kal-El wasn't the only one to escape the destruction. His cousin, Kara Zor-El did as well. But, her ship was knocked off course and she was put into hypersleep. Many years later, her ship eventually crash lands on Earth where she finds that her cousin has grown up without her. She must now get used to a world with a cousin that doesn't need her protection, getting used to her powers, finding her place, as well as a villain that comes from beyond the stars.
