Captured by the ruthless billionaire Simon Tycho, who seeks to exploit her powers, Kara Zor-El eventually escapes and is guided by Superman as she begins to embrace her identity as Supergirl. However, a new threat emerges in the form of Reign, a genetically engineered Kryptonian Worldkiller, who awakens on Earth with the intent to reshape or destroy the planet.
