Kara finds herself escaping her destroyed planet of Krypton and drifting into the void of the Phantom Zone, affecting time and space and sending her crash landing on Earth, years after her cousin Kal-El has already grown and made a name for himself. With their complicated reunion taking place, the arrival of General Zod prompts Supergirl to aid her cousin in defending her new home.
