A few months after their last adventure, Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach receive a visitor from a panicked toad girl named Toadette who pleads with them, saying that her homeland of Sarasaland has been invaded by an evil alien named Tatanga who's attempting to force their princess, Daisy, to marry him. So, Mario and friends must journey across the world to Sarasaland in order to join Daisy in her mission to free her people.
