A darker and grittier reboot in the franchise
From the creators of The Elder Scrolls® franchise and DOOM® comes for an new bold reimagining of the world's most lovable jumping plumbers is... Super Mario Bros. The game is set 200 years at the northernmost province of Mushroom Kingdom, an alternative continent on the planet Earth. Its main story focuses Mario Mario, a legendary plumber awakened during a demonic invasion on Earth in 2148 after his brother Luigi Mario allows forces of the kingdom to invade and Bowser prophesied to destroy the world. Throughout the game, the monster slayers completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel to discovered locations in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.
