Lucas is someone who became known as an expert basketball player, joining Jason Carver's team, but unfortunately there was tension between him, Mike, and Dustin, since being on the basketball team meant he couldn't participate in the Hellfire Club campaigns led by Eddie Munson. and although he eventually became a popular player, seen by his friends and Nancy, his relationship with Max was bad, because Max broke up with him due to her grief over the loss of Billy, which worried Lucas about her health. But while all this was happening, after Eleven returned from her vacation, Lucas would try to help Max with her grief, as well as helping Mike with his fear of losing Eleven, but also getting along with Will and Dustin. Pennywise would torment him in the worst possible way, not only by making him lose Max, but also by putting him in situations that made him look like a psychopath in front of people, and Jason himself, making him hate both Lucas and Eddie because, according to him, they “killed Chrissy” (without knowing that she is still alive and with them).
