Ororo Monroe remembers what she has always supposed to be a dream from her childhood, in which she controlled the weather, causing a Storm to fall on the people attacking her family. Now she is an adult and living her own life, she accidentally does this again, and realises that she really does have these powers. Her parents then reveal to her that she comes from a line of white-haired, blue-eyed sorceresses who are viewed as monsters, and that is why there was an attack on their family all those years ago. The person who sent the army to attack was named William Stryker, and after a run in with another person with special abilities a few years ago, he has returned to finish what he started. It is up to Ororo to stop him.
