The movie adaptation of the french Rock Opera
Marie-Jeanne, the lonely waitress of the "Underground Café", tells us the story of the city of Monopolis being under attack by the "Etoiles Noires" (the Black Stars), a terrorist organization lead by Johnny Rockfort and secretly controlled by Sadia. In that world everyone wants to become a star and dreams of going live on the famous TV show Starmania where the hostess Cristal makes celebrities. During those troubled times, tycoon Zéro Janvier is in the race for becoming the new president of the West World, making every promises to break the Etoiles Noires.
