Set in the hedonistic, high-energy music scene of 1970s London, Stardust Reverie follows Jasper Phoenix, a charismatic and enigmatic glam rock superstar known for his electrifying stage presence and androgynous persona. Jasper is a larger-than-life figure whose fame is matched only by his inner turmoil as he struggles with the demands of stardom and his desire for authentic human connection. One fateful night, Jasper crosses paths with Clara Sterling, a fiercely independent and aspiring journalist, at a decadent underground party. Clara is assigned to write an expose about Jasper’s meteoric rise, but instead, she becomes captivated by the man behind the glitter and finds herself drawn into his chaotic, glittering world. As Clara and Jasper grow closer, their love is tested by the pressures of fame, the manipulations of Jasper’s controlling manager Victor Hargreaves, and the shadow of Lila Hart, Jasper’s first love and songwriting muse who haunts him like a ghost of his past. The film explores themes of identity, love, and self-destruction, set against a backdrop of dazzling concert sequences, wild parties, and intimate moments of vulnerability.
