Alternate Casting
It follows the rise of the First Order, a successor to the Galactic Empire, and their conflict with the Resistance, which is led by Leia Organa and a new generation of heroes, including Rey, Finn, and Poe. The trilogy also explores the dark side of the Force, with Kylo Ren, Leia and Han Solo's son, at its center, and the return of Palpatine, the original Sith Lord, in the final installment.
