Synopsis

It’s 2099, and Lagos-Prime, a pulsating Afro-punk megacity, floats above a ravaged Earth, powered by "Soulfire," a tech that traps ancestral spirits to fuel colossal mechs called Egungun. These mechs, adorned with Yoruba masks and neon graffiti, fight off interdimensional demons leaking from a corporate-controlled rift. Our hero, Kemi "DJ Requiem" Adebayo, is a rogue soundweaver who hacks Soulfire to remix ancestral voices into revolutionary anthems. When NexusCorp, the city’s overlords, unleash a demon-god, Ogbunabali, to consume the afterlife for profit, Kemi discovers her mixes can awaken the Egungun for rebellion. She’s joined by a ragtag crew: a grizzled griot with a banshee wail, a possessed mech-pilot who dances to fight, and a glitchy AI spirit who raps prophecies. Battle scenes are musical setpieces: Kemi spins a Fela Kuti-inspired track as Egungun slam demons with breakdance-meets-capoeira moves. Horror creeps in as NexusCorp’s CEO, a soul-devouring technocrat, merges with Ogbunabali, warping reality itself.
