In the sequel he fights venom Eddie Brock. The Lizard is involved as his college teacher that presents a presentation. At some point he gains the symbiont costume from outer space. During this time both him and eddie brock are working for the daily bugle. It somehow attaches' itself to his own costume. He wakes sticking upside down. He doesnt relise its an alien entity of somekind making himself go villianis and evil. He knows he must get rid of it. Whilst that is happining , Parker then has a hand in brock being fired. Eddie brock is angered by this and lives in anbaned theme park after being kicked out of his apartment for not being able to pay for it. He ends up at the main bell tower where he tears it off. Not realising that eddie brock is below and lands on him making him venom. He some how helps the teacher/lizard with his arm and from turning into the lizard. venom tracks Spiderman aka parker down to take revenge on him. He then fights venom one last time in new York swinging after one another, punching in the air shooting webbing at each, whilst venom uses black webbing at him. After being out strengthed from venom he leads him to the space station near. This is to get rid of the symbiont costume and sending it into space by sticking it onto a space rocket like in the cartoon.
