Note: see my previous Spider-Man stories. Miles Morales is having the time of his life, after being Peter's sidekick for over 3 years, it's his time to shine as Spider-Man. Now that Sable International is gone, Roxxon Energy and its private security force, Roxxon Security led by Simon Krieger is becoming the biggest corporation in New York City. After Kingpin's downfall and the Demon's defeat, the Maggia families are back in business and in a gang war with each other for supremacy over New York's criminal underworld. Joseph Martello aka Hammerhead is still furious after he learned Black Cat betrayed him 2 years ago and becomes murderous. He kills the other dons, giving him complete control over the Maggia. Hammerhead steals Sable equipment and becomes almost unkillable with the Project Olympus armor, which transforms him into a cyborg. Miles must find a way to stop Hammerhead's carnage and get help from Peter and Silver Sable, who wants her equipment back. The three of them team up and can stop Hammerhead, but Peter is killed in the fight. In a mid credits scene we see Peter Parker's funeral. In a post credits scene Miles is reunited with and comforted by his childhood best friend Phin Mason.
