While in Production, Sony decided to continue the Spider-Man franchise with the subtitle "Fallen Of Darkness". After many director changes and difficulties bringing back The Wallcrawler, they finally hit the mark on Tom Holland reuniting with famed Spider-Man MCU Trilogy director Jon Watts. The film received mixed reviews; with critics pointing it out for being too much like Blade Runner 2049 or Captain America: The Winter Soldier and for some differences from the source material.
