Upon the events of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Otto Octavius lost his wife. Blaming the Avengers for her death, he designs robotic arms to allow him to go head to head with the heroes. Doc Ock decides to take out Spider-Man first because he was near when his wife was killed
