Peter Parker is taking a break from being Spider-Man and looking to spend his life with MJ, but this is interrupted by Harry Osborn who has taken on the mantle of the Green Goblin. Harry Osborn is looking to finish what his father started, and Peter Parker is forced to become Spider-Man once again.
