After entering college, Peter is alone when he reunites, his former love, Gwen Stacy, in which the two get together and later, Peter goes to a dinner with Gwen's family when Gwen's father receives a call that a psychopath by the name of Cletus Kassady has escaped from prison, Peter excuses himself and is going to make a call to Eddie Brock and tell of what happened the two go to Kassady and both fight a battle.
