Jack "Speed" Brennan, a cocky but gifted street racer with a haunted past and a need for speed that borders on obsession falls victim to a tragic accident during a sanctioned race and the accident leaves his younger brother paralyzed. Years later, Jack is lured back into the game by a mysterious new challenger known only as The Phantom, whose driving skills and ruthlessness threaten to upend the underground hierarchy.
