This trope is when a character is apart of a group of peers who are known to be badly mannered and taught a lesson. Or there’s one person in the group who needs a lesson, but the rest of the group get blamed for it, too... yet you question, what did they do wrong exactly? Even if they did somewhat agree on bad intentions, they’re still the most well-behaved one out of the lot or they weren’t in on it at all, but are still being done dirty when they did nothing wrong.
