Geographically, the North is usually classed as comprising the counties of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire, Lancashire (including Liverpool), Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Cumbria, and parts of Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. The ITV regions Oop North are Granada, Border, Tyne Tees, and Yorkshire.
