When a character in a Prequel or Flashback makes an offhand comment about something that viewers know will happen in the future, but the character themself is unaware of. Usually this takes the form of a derisive statement like "X? That's the Stupidest Thing I've Ever Heard", where X is a major theme in the series. Done well, this can be a good inside joke in the same sense as a Call-Back or even provide an explanation for why something happens in the future, but done badly it can seem bizarre that the character would say something like that.
