When Scourge and his group got taken out of their world, he thought "If I can't take over my world . . . I'll take over THIS ONE!!!!" Scourge is not only dangerous, but a complete dirtbag and jerk. He believes that the Freedom Fighters are just kids that are playing hero and boasts that he and the Suppression Squad are more powerful than they'll ever be. But Scourge's ego gets the best of him when Sonic and his friends defeat him and his group, having thought they were just "weaklings who'll never be enough."
