The Angel Island Saga
The Death Egg crashes once again on Hidden Palace, and Sonic and Tails head to investigate. They end up in Mushroom Hill Zone, where Sonic converts the Chaos Emeralds he found into the Super Emeralds. He becomes partners with Knuckles later on, and the two now have to team up in order to beat Dr. Robotnik.
