Fan Casting Gemerl in Sonic The Hedgehog: The Blue Blur

A copy of Emerl by Eggman, Gemerl carries over his predecessor's incredible fighting prowess and adaptability but was also a soulless husk that lacked any free will or personality. After being used by Eggman to try to defeat Sonic, he would gain free will and became a machine obsessed with destruction. After being defeated, Gemerl would be repaired and reprogrammed to become a peaceful and protective robot that would live with Cream's family. Even with a new lease on life and purpose, Gemerl would still prove to be rather undeveloped, being more openly machine-like and literal-minded than his predecessor but his adaptive systems mean that he can and will learn to be his own defined person.
