Sonic is a super-powered humanoid hedgehog who lives among a secret village-like community of humanoid animals on Christmas Island, who struggles to fit in. But one day, a team of scientists hired by the government show up on the island and begin deforesting the place in search for the mythical Master Emerald. Sonic decides to step up to save the day, making new friends (and enemies) along the way.
