After reclaiming the ancient power source, the Master Emerald, from Dr. Robotnik’s hands, Sonic and his new family dedicate their lives to looking after the gem. However, it turns out that Dr. Robotnik’s body was never recovered – hinting that they could meet the evil genius in the future.
