When the events of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2", Dr. Robotnik has survived from being fallen from dead until he teams up Agent Stone, a hidden file of Protect Shadow, a ultimate lifeform who naming himself Shadow, a robotic version of Sonic called Metal Sonic, a aqua mutant called Chaos along with a jewel thief named Rouge the Bat and a robot named E-123 Omega to had revenge on Sonic again, when Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie teams up with more new allies Amy Rose, Silver the Hedgehog, Blaze the Bat, Cream the Rabbit with her companion Cheese the Chao, Big the Cat and his pet Froggy and the detective members were named the Chaotix and Marine the Raccoon expect for Shadow, Rouge and E-123 Omega who reformed to join them to defeat Dr. Robotnik and Shadow’s creator Black Doom for destroying the universe
