He was the Overlander nephew of the infamous world-despot Dr. Ivo Robotnik (formerly Julian Kintobor). Snively was both devious and treacherous, and was responsible for his uncle's death when he reprogrammed the Ultimate Annihilator to target only his DNA. Following this, Snively attempted to secure control over his late-uncle's empire, only to be captured and imprisoned by the Freedom Fighters.
