Mark Grayson always had the chance that he would never acquire his father's abilities. After living most of his youth as an ordinary teenager, one day he began exhibiting super strength, flight, and invulnerability. With his father's help, he got a suit and began fighting crime. After his civilian identity was warned that he wasn't "invincible," he ended up using that word for his superhero identity, but it didn't last long when the TVA sent him into the void. So Invincible, along with others who ended up in the void, formed the Revengers to catch the Sonics because according to them, they're the only ones who know how to get out of the void.
