Sonic in Mothra vs. Godzilla is the sequel to Sonic in King Kong vs. Godzilla. since after when Godzilla lost the fight were he let King Kong defeated him. Sonic, Tempest, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Porker Lewis, Johnny Lightfoot, with Cream, Cheese, Tangle, and Whisper are back to japan and discovered a gigantic of Mothra, but they'd also encounters the two fairies, and even Mothra herself, until then Godzilla is back for revenge, and strike again on tokyo, and battle out against another kaiju Mothra.
