The peaceful world of Sonic the Hedgehog is shattered when a mysterious, malevolent entity known as Sonic.EXE emerges from the depths of the digital void. This dark version of Sonic threatens to corrupt everything in its path, not by coming from an alternate reality, but by being a digital virus born from the corrupted data of Sonic's world.
