Sonic, Tails Uncle Chuck and Knuckles have successfully got the Master Emerald back from the Death Egg, which is in pieces now. Robotnik is nowhere to be found. The team hands Knuckles the Emerald as he places it back on the shrine, making it rise again. Everyone was surprised to know that Angel Island is a floating one. After the trio packed up their things, they said their goodbyes to Knuckles since his destiny is guarding the Emerald. Sonic and Knux just smile and fist bump as a sign to show they are now friends and allies. As the hedgehogs and fox leave, Knuckles is glad to know he has friends.
