As a young urchin on the streets of Egypt Clockwerk quickly worked his way up to becoming an advisor but unfortunately Slytunkhamen the 1st just as quickly overshadowed him and also stole his girl. Clockwerk swore revenge and had one of the magicians make him effectively immortal (Of course he also had various upgrades made over the centuries to stay in top shape) and he also gathered 4 of the underworld's other baddest villains and killed Conner and ending the family line. or so he's thought,,,,
