This is a El, One of a race of men that live in the same time-stream as Crom-Cruach. They are stronger than Berzerkers and oblivious to pain. These Els can change shape (Elfric always retains his third eye) and conjure up demons by mental projection of matter. Elfric is a master of these skills, which you call magic.
