Chef Pepper Jack was originally a member of the heinous Doom Raiders, serving as not just a mean chef, but a mean villain in general. Even when several of the former Doom Raiders went on to reject evil and become Senseis, he was at first hesitant to turn back on his evil ways—but he soon found that the loss of Skylands' magic had affected the quality of his ingredients, and quite a few fondly remembered his days as a celebrity chef and missed their old hero. So, he joined up with the Skylands Restoration Team and became a Sensei, mentoring Imaginators of the new Fighter Imaginator class.
