Back in the day, Cali was a famous adventurer and archaelogist who would often help out the Skylanders when they weren't rescuing her from whatever villain got their clutches on her—but after the Skylanders were lost and the Magic Eater won, she decided it was her turn to take the reins of heroism, acting as the Team's second-in-command on most affairs thanks the vast amounts of knowledge she's accumulated from adventuring.
