Rufus is the village crier of Woodburrow. He's a very uppity sort and always a little high-strung, but does his best to keep things running and keep people informed. He's also been charged with helping her oversee Tessa's preparations for her ascent to chieftess because of his close bond with her, who he thinks of as his little sister. He aids the heroes throughout the third story arc.
