Originally the right-hand servant of the Creator of Skylands, Brain was banished for years after a failed uprising against his creator before being found by the heroes and taken in during the twilight years of the War of Hope and Despair. With the war over, he's decided to enjoy all the wonders modern Skylands has to offer, but jumps back in to help the heroes when Sacrament enacts his plans to become a new Despair Bringer.
